This MY99 was prepared by the legendary Possum Bourne Motorsport in Pukekohe, New Zealand, to FiA World Rally Championship, Group A specifications and purchased new by Miles Sandy to run in the Australian Rally Championship and the NSW Rally Championship series.
Miles and the MY99 have won 3 (almost 4) NSW Rally Championships and numerous other events within Australia over the last 25 years.
Recent upgrades include the assistance of Modena Engineering with a full sequential gearbox and mechanically locking front diff assembly as well as the latest suspension systems from MCA Suspension with engine preparation by Subaru specialist, Lee Bird of Deshele Performance Engines and MoTeC management and data acquisition handled by Matt at Gillmer Tuning.
Miles still actively campaigns the MY99 and will be seen at selected events on the 2024 Australian Rally calendar. Miles and his Team at Cavallino Corsa will be campaigning 2-3 different cars at the various events this year, so stand by for more news!
