This Abarth 131 Rally was initially prepared for Giorgio Pesavento to FiA Group 4 specifications. Giorgio actively campaigned the car throughout Italy until Riccardo Mariotti purchased the vehicle in 2008 and continued its history by racing in events such as the Elba Classic, the Tuscan and San Marino Rallies.
With the assistance of Fiat & Lancia expert Roberto Cassetta in Torino, Italy, this iconic Abarth 131 R has had a full mechanical restoration by numerous Abarth 131 R experts, and a complete engine rebuild, test and tune by none other than Abarth legends, the Baldi twins, Elio and Giovanni at their Girardo & Co. facility in Turin.
Miles will be campaigning the Abarth 131 R Group 4 at selected events on the 2024 Australian Rally calendar, including numerous rounds of the East Coast Classic Rally Series.
